Approval Disclosure Statement
The Bureau for Postsecondary Education (BPPE) is part of the Department of Consumer Affairs and is a consumer protection agency. BPPE exists to protect consumers and determines whether schools comply with consumer protection laws. The California School of Interpretation and Translation was a registered school from 2000-2009 with BPPE offering an Interpreter and Translation License and Exam Preparation Program.
Pursuant to the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (CPPEA) Article 4 Section 94874(f), California School of Interpretation and Translation was given an exemption by statute as offering non-degree programs for total charges of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) or less when no part of the total charges is paid from state or federal student financial aid programs.
